Sharing Rizzoli’s Christmas catalogue with Tupac and Madonna
The Island Book of Records in Rizzoli catalogue

No, not about a cop TV show…. about the most beautiful bookshop in New York City.

Somebody told us The Island Book of Records is being featured in this years Christmas catalogue from Manhattan’s ultimate bookstore, Rizzoli’s.

“Yeah… go to page 26… there’s a load of recommendations for their Performing Arts category… and you’re in it!!” was the phone call yesterday.

And there we are ….. sharing the page with Bob Marley, Tupac Shakur, Velvet Underground, Nirvana and someone called Madonna.

When we lived in New York we were always overwhelmed by Rizzoli’s – its history, its grandeur, its richness of prestigious books that take your breath away. It where you go to lose hours just looking and looking at creative beauty

It’s widely considered one of the foremost independent booksellers in America—specializing in literature, photography, architecture, interior design, culinary, and the fine and applied arts.

“Rizzoli, the famed Italian purveyor of art tomes, has over the years produced an entire library of gorgeous coffee table books. They have upped the ante on modernism in hardcover with a stack of architecture and design books that are as much nourishment for the mind as cannoli for the eye. Rizzoli’s editors have their fingers on the pulse of what’s happening right now and next in design in the United States and abroad.”
