Inside pages in the Vinyl Factory review… yeeha!

Here’s a very interesting website we didn’t know about, but they certainly know about us.  The Vinyl Factory have given us our first review.  And they have illustrated the review with sample dummy pages  from the Island Book of Records. Hopefully this will give you an idea of the extent of detail inside,…yes … that’s 170,000 words worth of detail

What is The Vinyl Factory?….from their site… “The Vinyl Factory is the only major pressing plant in the United Kingdom. Located in Hayes in West London, once the vibrant manufacturing hub at the heart of the UK music industry, The Vinyl Factory continues to make the most coveted vinyl editions on the planet with the original machinery used to press The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Sex Pistols and many more of the most emblematic records in history. They are a  record label, pressing plant, magazine and curator/collaborator for artists and musicians to explore new ideas in audio-visual arts.

The Vinyl Factory record label releases limited editions made in collaboration with musicians and artists, accompanied by events and performances. Releases to date include: Daft Punk, Marina Abramovic, Massive Attack, Roisin Murphy, Christian Marclay, Florence + the Machine, Dinos Chapman, Michèle Lamy, Thom Yorke, Hito Steyerl, Pet Shop Boys, and Yussef Dayes.”
