Yes… we are researching for Volume 4… and madame here, is researching credits off all the covers. Nothing like accuracy… including all the daft comments they did in those days (1975) … one of the albums lists the backing vocals as “lovers, wives and other women”….
So today I am researching ILPS 9322 – that Kevin Ayers album called Sweet Deciever.. a marvelous illustration by Tony Wright on the cover…so I’m going through the cover credits… and it says Piano: Elton John…WHAAAT? surely shome mistake… but no. So in doing the research I am also listen to music I’ve never heard before and I am blown away by the piano playing of Elton John. I hope you have the same reaction
